Guidelines for recipients of scholarships

The award is designated to provide financial assistance to deserving students with an interest in a career in the heavy construction industry. The parties herein named agree to the following stipulations:

The recipient must be a United States citizen.

The recipient must be an upperclassman majoring in civil engineering or construction management studies directly applicable to the heavy construction industry, or a graduate student pursuing no higher than a Masters degree.

The recipient should have a professional goal of achieving a career in the heavy construction industry as established by one or more of the following:
1. Stated intention of pursuing such a career.
2. By part-time or summer employment in the heavy
construction industry.
3. Enrollment in related curriculum.
4. A written paper outlining the recipient’s reasons
for choosing a career in the heavy construction industry.

The recipient must be a full-time student of the University with demonstrated financial need.
